According to Ellen DeGeneres, she had spent her recent summer vacation in London and took the opportunity to see little baby Archie with her own eyes, while also meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the same time.

It is no secret that Ellen is an avid follower of the developments around the royal family, and she could not do much to hide her excitement over the new opportunity.

And it looks like the meeting went even better than anyone in her position could expect, as Ellen was reportedly also allowed to hold baby Archie in her arms, and was quite happy about that.

She talked about the event in a recent preview for her talk show, indicating that her fans will likely be treated to even more information once the episode officially airs.

Ellen also sounded genuinely surprised to have been allowed to meet the royal family herself and claimed that this was not something she saw in her future at all.

She added that it was a considerable honor… only to turn it around into a joke and claim that the royal family should have been honored to meet her.

The host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show jokingly said: “He weighs 15 lbs., which is, the exchange rate, is 17 dollars here! He looks like Harry — and he had more hair than I did at the time.”

The comedian added: “Portia and I talked to them about all the conservation they are doing for wildlife. They are doing all this work in Botswana for elephants, and I love that, and they like what I’m doing for the gorillas in Rwanda, so we’re gonna all do something together.”

She concluded by: “They are amazing. They are the cutest couple and so down-to-earth. I see them get attacked, and it’s not fair. They are just two of the most down-to-earth compassionate people; they’re doing so much good for the world.”

In the end, Ellen also added that she even got an opportunity to feed Archie on top of getting to hold him, so it sounds like she has managed to have quite a good time overall.
